Privacy Policy

ShelfKeeper is operated by Ivula Technologies (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use ShelfKeeper and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, library name, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture.
• Library data: the books, covers, borrowers, lendings, notes, and settings you enter.
• Borrower contact details: names, emails, and phone numbers you add so ShelfKeeper can send reminders on your behalf. You are responsible for having permission to store and contact them.
• Public catalogue requests: names and contact details visitors submit when requesting a book or suggesting one.
• Billing: Stripe processes payments. We receive your plan, subscription status, and a Stripe customer ID. We never see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

• To run your library, send due-date reminders, and show your public catalogue if you turn it on.
• To process subscriptions and send account and billing emails.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your data or your borrowers’ data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Open Library (ISBN lookups, which receive only the ISBN). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays in your account until you delete it. To delete your account and all library data, email hello@ivulatechnologies.com from your account email and we will remove it within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information at any time. California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Children

ShelfKeeper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
